This tour is designed to help you get oriented in the city and visit all the major landmarks at a relaxed pace that’s accessible to everyone. Cycling is the perfect way to navigate Berlin, giving you an overview and allowing you to see all the top highlights in one tour around the city.

VISIT BERLIN’S MOST POPULAR HIGHLIGHTS AND COVER MORE GROUND

The tour can be easily adapted to your interests and preferences for duration and distance, but as a starting point, you can expect to see and learn about the following:

• No visit to Berlin is complete without seeing the Berlin Wall. The best place is the large memorial along Bernauer Strasse, where we can stop in multiple spots to discuss the Wall and its significance both then and now.
• Brandenburg Gate – feel the historical significance and understand the gate’s evolving symbolic role.
• Reichstag – hear how the Nazis cynically used the building to eliminate their political arch-rivals, the Communists, while also dismantling German democracy.
• The old Nazi government quarter and Hitler’s Führerbunker.
• The Holocaust Memorial and the wonderfully green Tiergarten.
• Walk along the Prussian Royal Boulevard, Unter den Linden, and hear about Frederick the Great’s lasting legacy.
• The Book Burning Memorial at Bebelplatz.
• The old royal quarter and the Royal Palace (Humboldt Forum).
• The neoclassical buildings on Museum Island, Berlin’s answer to the Louvre, and the Berlin Cathedral.
• See the legendary Checkpoint Charlie border crossing, where the Cold War almost ignited a third world war.

€200 for a 3½-hour guided tour for groups of up to 6 people.
For groups over 6 people – €30 per person for a guided tour of approximately 4 hours.
